Odina murmured under her breath as she looked at the display, so much had happened in a short span of time. It was hectic but at least it wasn’t boring. Going over her previous report and the one she was working on was annoying but she wanted to be certain she had not missed anything from the in progress brief I’m working on it, to the finally completed repairs and checks.

Odina knew that El, WO Jackson, Ens Gagarin, PO Walters likely had things sorted out on the bridge and if not they would call her. She ran the fingers of her left hand absently over Tionas who was curled up in her pocket at rest/recharging. It was silly she knew to have an attachment to a mechanical thing; a pocket sized dragon pet she had dreamed up from reading books and after learning how to build and repair only added to the want for her pocket sized robotic dragon. Most would consider it a toy, but Tionas was useful, he could carry tools from across the room, shine a bright beam light when she needed her hands free, and she often dictated her reports so Tionas could play them back before her final written report was submitted. He was a he and she knew that one day something could happen to him and she would have to take time to build a new one. She grinned softly as she remembered the robotic dog she left at home for her folks had taken to picking up her mother’s crocheting hooks and bringing them to wherever her mother was seated. Before leaving she’d asked if her mother wanted her to check is programing or change anything. “Gus is fine, as he is thank you!” her mother had retorted in a no none sense tone which meant do NOT argue.
