For Grey beyond what had already been said nothing else was present to learn about. They were a pest plain and simple. A very dangerous pest if allowed to spawn and get out of control. But hopefully this had been the only one on the ship and based on what was said had not matured enough yet to get to egg laying.

Sally turned away from Grey to the covered up NE Tech, “..Come on then lets um....lets get to his autopsy.” She said looking squimish.

Rachel was a speed reader so it didn’t take her long to get caught up with the information the team had gathered regarding the alien. She gathered her thoughts as she rejoined Tech and Fletcher “This your first autopsy Ensign?” SHe asked Jack.

“No, Ma’am” He answered candidly. “We covered some Autopsy work in Medical School” He briefly cast his mind back to that time. He didn’t enjoy that work very much, which is understandable, it is not a very pleasant - but still important - thing to have to do.

Once the pair got underway with the tech in the scanner, they were thankfully able to quickly ascertain that the tech had not had any eggs or such dropped in the remains. Cause of death during the autopsy was also pretty quick to determine. Mainly that the various arteries in the neck had been severed and caused massive blood loss, coupled with secondary injuries and the like around much of his left head and shoulder.

Fletcher was relieved when scans showed a lack of eggs present. But as the rest of the details were revealed, he grimaced slightly. This was pretty gruesome stuff.
