“They’re OTC,” Marceau joked, “but yours are extra-special.” They kissed, a long and slow one, and then he rested his head against her. “Cela m’a permis de me sentir mieux.” (It did make me feel better)

“My French isn’t that good, but I’m pretty sure you said you feel better.” Helena gave him a quick peck before curling up beside him. She was quiet for a minute before she laughed, “Hey Marceau, we aren’t telling my mom about that home remedy.”

Marceau wrapped his arms around her, suddenly seeming sleepy. “Uh? Non, no we’re not.” He replied, laughing too. Then he cuddled into her and smiled. “I said your kiss made me feel better.”

Some few hours later Helena woke and bit back a pained groan. Her muscles were giant throbbing knots that didn’t want to move. Apparently too much rest was bad because now she couldn’t move. Well she could but it was painful and her muscles protested with the effort. The clock said it was a couple hours past lunch which meant she had missed her second pill.
