Isaac was relaxing with food and an old book ‘The Adventures Of Hellsing’ he was reading a real book made of paper. He always enjoyed reading real books. Most people in Star fleet have never seen a book before

Lt. Isaac Black (AC)

It was the end of a long quiet shift. There wasn’t much to do when the ship was at warp. Just make sure the auto pilot didn’t mess up. The most exciting thing had been the sensors were better than the probs they sent out so they were able to get more detail for the star maps. Science handled that, but Helena had spent some time studying the new information.

The mess hall was mostly quiet at the moment and Helena made her way through to the Galley and the serving line. The chef meticulously explaining each dish and what she was and was not allowed to have. Helena smirked and dutifully took the food handed to her. The chef was just a big overprotective teddy bear. She took her tray to an empty table and sat down.

Isaac looked up from his book waved to Laursen and put his book down he checked his watch and finished his food.

Helena nodded to the armory chief, “Lt. Black. How are things with you and the armory?” Everyone had been busy with their own lite bits of the ship since launch. A new crew, new ship, there wad a lot to do.

Laursen, pilot

Long, quiet shifts were quickly becoming Marceau’s least favorite thing. They were boring. At least in Sickbay, there was always something to keep oneself busy. On the bridge, you had to be paying attention, doing nothing but sitting and watch space go by. The shifts seemed to take a century.

When Marceau headed to the mess for food, he immediately noticed Helena already there. He picked up his food, and then went to join her, also greeting Black with a nod, “Lieutenants.”

Isaac saw the captain enter and waved at him “hey captain about to head off to bed” he asked. Isaac himself was about to head to bed.
