Walking down the centre corridor or the ships C deck Lt Jg Dunlap travelled towards the deck’s elevator upon arrival the tall, brown-haired, blue-eyed officer tapped the side panel using his index finger and waited for the doors to the lift to open. During the time it had for the lift to arrive Seb began to ponder what he would say upon meeting his new Executive Officer upon meeting her. The young officer did not know much about the ships Executive Officer other than that they were Vulcan. Releasing that the lift had arrived Seb ceased thinking about how he would meet the XO and entered the lift were he stood centrally and remained silent.

Tapping one of the buttons on the panel to his left Sebastian notified the computer that he wished for the lift to take him to deck B. Now that the computer knew where it was going it jolted the lift into action. Been on C deck and travelling only to B deck it was clear that travelling between decks would not take very long and in the blink of an eye, he had arrived.

Stepping out of the lift Dunlap found himself to be on B deck, the deck’s purpose was to serve as crew quarters, travelling down the corridor the nervous Lt Jg passed several crew members from several different departments the majority of them he was yet to meet. Making his way to the Aft side of the saucer Armoury Officer Dunlap located the XO’s quarters and approached the door. Remaining both still and silent he went onto straighten out his freshly pressed uniform and tapped the button on the panel that activated a chime inside the XO’s quarters. Standing in the position of attention Seb Dunlap awaited permission to enter.

T’Leia was never in her quarters very much as she preferred to keep busy and only used them for sleeping and meditation and it so happened at this time that she had just completed her meditations. She was dressed in a very plain white tunic and legging set as she rose gracefully from her cross legged position and extinguished her meditation candle when the chime activated on her door.

Moving over to the door she touched the panel on the side that activated the mechanism and allowed it to slide open. She didn’t say anything for a moment as she studied the young officer standing before her. Finally she spoke,
“Lieutenant, how may I be of assistance?” She asked cooly. She knew if her presence was required on the bridge she would have been summoned via the comm channel and she did not recognize the young man. He must be a new officer she thought to herself.
