Shiavik, who had finally managed to make more sense of this compacted ship, moved on about the meetings she knew needed to be completed. With a composure strong albeit cautious, she wondered of the person this captain might be. She did not, however, see too much into it, recognizing the foolishness in determining the prize before you could purchase the bait. Hands clasped behind her back, her Guard uniform replaced with the proper, and hair pulled into a neat bun, the Andorian found her way to the Captain’s office— Ready room.

Silently, she rose her hand to notify the captain as to her arrival, keeping her motions brisk and almost frigid. Awaiting response, she briefly took in the passing people, considering their status and their mannerisms.

The door opened and the Captain stood there with a smile on her face. “Ahhh, Lieutenant. Please come in.” She wakes back into the small room motioning the woman to follow. “I was enjoying some tea, would you like some?” She motioned to the chair in the other side of the small table just inside the room as she stepped into a small alcove and grabbed the tray with a tea pot and other items on it including cream, sugar, and a couple cups and saucers.

Greeted by a kind face of a woman so different than she had been accustomed to. Smiling? That seemed odd of someone with her obvious prestige. It was clear there were more to humans than Jharaas currently understood.. Especially if the Captain was grinning, instead of looking upon a subordinate with an authoritive grimace. She didn’t allow this to impact the obvious stiffness of her composure, finding it was simply –like that Ensign– another idiosyncracy to understand. “No, thank you, ma’am.”

She took a seat.

“I hope you settled into your room all right. Everything ok for you there?” She set the tray down and sat herself down looking up at the Andorian.

“The quarters assigned will fit what I need, yes,” It was a way of saying they were perfect. Not too small and not too large. After all, she didn’t suspect she would be finding much time there.

The CO’s uniform was neat and precise. Her brunette hair was plaited and coiled, regulation style, at the base of her neck. The blue eyes that looked at Jharaas were flecked hazel and kind. The room was similar to the woman but hinted at more. Decorations were minimal but little trinkets here and there have voice that the woman was an adventurer. There were crystalline rocks scattered here and there. The differences between them obvious enough to give one thought they were from various places. There were also a few daggers adorning the walls. If the Andorian was knowledgeable in such things, human, Klingon, Vulcan, and a couple other species were represented in the small arms collection. There was, however, no steel representing the MACO CO’s home world.

For a moment, she did not speak. She briefly studied the captain, noting her appearance, any particular markers that were unique to her. It was a mode of memorization to a woman she knew she would have to become accustomed to. Once certain she had a keen enough understanding, she allowed her gaze the curiously drift about the room, hopping from aspect to aspect, in bold attempt to understand her surroundings. It was an antic she didn’t realize she had, that was, the need to fully understand where she was, to be comfortable.

Jharaas felt the want to inquire to the relics, many of which she knew from simply reading of them, but never seeong one. However, she shut it down with the understanding of what this was all about.

“I am Lt. Jharaas Shiavik, Captain; recently exchanged from the Andorian Imperial Guard, beneath the command of Captain Taris Chyron.” She informed, “Reporting for duty, as needed.”
