As this all happened the ebbing and flow of the gravity anomalies in and around the planet and the vast system about them suddenly seemed to ebb out and cease! Within minutes the ripple effects and stirring gaseous around them (and later when they would check even the 4 light year radius that trapped them) was soon gone! They were free, but in turn the alien planet was still here and present. Further picked up was that the mysterious powerful energy source that the landing party had been studying at the abandoned base deep below the surface of the planet had ceased.

More to the point though on scans, suddenly above the northern pole region something seemed to shimmer then fade into view! Above the pole was a large deeply black diamond shaped object of some sort. Going off the scans the object was 60 meters high by 35 meters wide. As they watched at the top and bottom tips of the object two small white light sources begin to blink in a slow pulse effect, which as they further would watch over the next two minutes had steadily grown in speed.

Scans picked up an energy source from the large diamond object, the power plant was some kind of advanced fusion power source similar in scope to what their own impulse engines used, but much more powerful. To put them in comparison the alien object’s reactors were putting out roughly 300% more energy then what the Bonaventure’s two impulse motors could do on their best days. No signs of life from the alien object was picked up, though there was some kind of reaction going on over on the object. What exactly would happen was anyone’s guess.

A message came to the comms. [o] El to bridge. Power is optimal. Early look here is that we may be able to go to warp. Engineering is standing by. [c]

Lt. Isaac Black flipped the com [o] Captain to the bridge [o] Then he flipped the com again [o] Bridge to engineering stand by warp [o]

[o] Ready when you are, bridge [c] Came a more hesitant reply. After another few moments engineering came on again [o] Any readings on shielding or weapons or FTL drives on that? [c]

The Captain’s voice came over the comm then. [O]Captain to bridge, on my way.[O]

Just after the CO’s comm reply on the view screen the strobing lights on the top and bottom of the structure were now an almost blinding blinking speed. But no signs of any type of power build up or known weapons were in evidence, so again what this meant was once more anyone’s guess!

Isaac looked at the Structure and activated the ships shields. “Shields are up Science station I want full scans on that whatever you can tell me”

Ari’s voice came over the comm. [O]Bridge… what are the readings on the ship? When did it appear and has it hailed us yet?[O] She wasn’t sure if she liked the idea of another ship being up here or not, and get voice called that hint.
