[O]Locke to bridge, I disconnected the power from the cryo pods and turned off the main reactor. You got three hours to transport those pods before their reserved power dies.[O]

Rachel turned to the Captain “I suppose that’s an option as well” She said, her crooked smile faded into a slight frown.
Dr. Grey - CMO
Ari shook her head as all her thoughts converged at once in those couple comms. Tapping the console she walked up, she responded to the bridge. [O] On my way, Black.[C]
She then tapped it once more for the surface team. [O] Captain to away team, the XO and Doc will be assisting with personnel and cryo transport. Stand by.[O]
=^=Currently we went topside. While we didn’t find anyone down there, I doubt it will remain like that and I don’t trust confined spaces.=^=

Glancing at the others, she shook her head once more. “All right, XO to the transporter room with our guests and the Doc, please. Let’s get these folks home, get our folks back. And we may as well bring up the pods. Gonna take a while, I don’t want more than two people or more than one pod transported at the same time. Don’t want to start losing folks now.”
Looking then to the soldier and the other guest, and smiled. “It really has been a pleasure meeting you. We will help as much as we can with some food and basic medical supplies before we leave, but that is all we can do. Meanwhile, we will also see what can be done so this doesn’t happen again. I will see about getting a delegation out here to help you adjust to this new location in the stars, though. Soon as I am able. I give you my word. Is there anything you wish to ask of me before you go home?”
Something told her the others wouldn’t be pleased to be going back to a war torn world, but she really was out of her depth on this one and hope that diplomats would be better suited to helping this planet adjust, and perhaps, keep the planet jumping from happening again. She also made a mental note to set warning beacons as soon as the others were clear of the ship.
Ari
COAs Ari finished off talking to the guests, Jonathan motioned for the Doctor to step to the side with him.
“Doctor, head down to the transporter pad and lets start beaming those pods up ASAP. I’ll be down with our guests as soon as they finish up here with the Captain. And Doc, if things go south before I get there, make sure we get our people back. Okay?”
Cmdr. McKnight - XO
Rachel nodded “Aye” She said simply, turning on the spot and strode out of the mess hall, ducking to get past the doorway. She quietly hummed an Andorian marching song as she went about her way.
Dr. Grey - CMO
NE Galen Sideris skidded into the galley narrowly missing Dr Grey as she exited. “Ma’am,” he said quickly and moving a hand up to tip his hat where he didn’t have one. Ducking around her and into the galley he looked about. The XO was there. Was all the brass up at this hour? What happened to a nice calm gamma shift where nothing happened? His eyes moved about to who else was there. There was that soldier El mentioned. He didn’t look that yummy, he thought. But he did look like he had gone through the ringer, as his old gran used to say. The girl was there too. She looked rustic, but had a soft beauty to her, but right now looked to him like she felt very out of place.
Quickly opting for Elm, he slowly approached her. “Elm? Hi, I’m Galen. El sent me her to see how you were doing and she had a couple of questions.” That wasn’t exactly true. She didn’t precisely send her regards to her welfare but his own country manners seemed to need that. He looked out the window looking for the big black ship.
OOC: Rob, can they see it from there? Or do they need to move to the other side of the ship?
IC:(If here) .. “Do you recognize that?” he asked, pointing. He glanced over to the soldier to try to get him into the conversation too.
(If elsewhere) .. To the XO, he said, “Commander, sir, Ensign El sent me here to ask these folks if they recognize the ship in orbit. It doesn’t seem to be from around here.”
- Galen, EngAri watched the Ensign come in and whirl around the room. At the mention of the ship, she frowned and moved to the window. Off to the side, and down to the right, barely visible to them unless you were looking for it, was a black ship. Frowning, she glanced at the XO. “Did you know anything about this?” She moved back to the wall comm. [O]Bridge… what are the readings on the ship? When did it appear and has it hailed us yet?[O] She wasn’t sure if she liked the idea of another ship being up here or not. And the other question was, was it there before they popped back into this sector of space? Or was it joining them now for the first time?
A million other questions floated through her mind, but all she could think was that this was not going to be as smooth as she hoped. Something told her this was about to get a lot stickier.

OOC: Sorry chief, didn’t think you were there still. Your bridge reply said you were on your way so thought you’d, um, left.
IC:
Galen froze. He had completely missed seeing the Captain. Inwardly he cringed as he heard the questions. What was going on? Engineering had had a virtual alien party there and the two main officers had no clue? He turned to them but kept Elm in the conversation with his body angle. “Um, sirs,” he said, glancing to them, then to the soldier then to Elm, “Sayers saw it as it happened. I talked to him. He said the spatial anomaly out there melted off and then he saw that ship there over the pole. When I went to Engineering they had it up on the display and were surmising what it might be and running scans and language algorithms. No life signs. We think it might be a big unmanned buoy. Huge power plant. Thin hull. Big flashing lights. ” He paused, feeling a little foolish with the macro-binoculars in hand. “El, er, Ensign Serinde sent me here to our guests to see if they recognize it.” He felt incredibly awkward. What was the bridge doing? “Uh, bridge has polarized the hull and we’ve diverted power to sensors and readied engines at their call.” He felt the urge to whistle something but resisted that urge.
He looked at the soldier and Elm, scratched his chin absently, realizing his intro had been expended on the officers. Glancing to the port windows he said, “It’s right there. If you need to look closer you can use these,” he said to Elm and included the soldier with a glance and a nod as he held the binoculars in his open palm.
