Isaac was at his station scanning the plant below. Every now and then he would pick up a few fire fights between the two groups there are at war. A few times he has found military bunkers marking them on the censored map as he went.

Scans took a bit but finally came in, radiation levels across the planet were high and in some places like former major cities simply unlivable. Also shown up were signs of slow mutations from plant and animal life in lower radiation hot spots which seemed from scans over the past few days to also have been former chemical and medical testing locations for both sides. Troop deployments were chaotic but overall where active it seemed the southern MACARM forces were for the most part winning the land war in convectional senses. The northern ESM forces were mostly on the defensive having taken the surprise attacks by the rain of nuclear missiles badly. The only place they seemed to have a bit of a ‘win’ was on and under the oceans of the planet. Here it seems the ESM forces had an edge in naval combats so far though how long this might last was anyone’s guess. Both sides low orbit armed satellites and space platforms had of course been by now completely wiped out. What few bits of fluctuating rubble still having power showed no signs of life.
