Ari had to make a decision. It was kill the overpowering soldiers and hope the saved soldier would be an asset to them. She growled to herself. “We need to know what happened. Egg Head Bureau hopefully still means the brains of the area. We need his intel if we can get it. And I imagine saving him will make us more likely to be allies in his eyes than enemies in the eyes of the super powered soldiers.”

She held her breath a moment as her heart skipped a beat. “We need him. It may be our best chance of discovering what they did do that affected the planet and the ship. And also let us figure out what they are aware of and doing about it.” She nodded to Adams and Black. “Let’s take out the soldiers and save that prisoner.”

She slid onto her back and closed her eyes a moment as she opened the comms to the XO. [O] Was going to call for regroup at the ship, but we may have a lead. Any luck there? [O] She had been about to call for a regroup on the ship. But they couldn’t pass up this opportunity and they couldn’t take the prisoner and woman to the ship. So once again, in the blink of an eye, plans changed and had to be adapted for.

She glanced back at Black and Adams as she rolled to her stomach. “Let’s do this one they are clear of their comm chatter.” She knew they soldiers were asking permission for interrogation. Once they comm conversation was over, she would order them fired upon and save the prisoner.

Isaac had a little idea “captain I say we go down and say we are with District 6 of intelligence and informed them that the egg heads are coming with us for some extreme interrogation. This way we can void using our technology in front of the soldiers” he said looking around

[O] We made contact with a downed fighter pilot, and were starting to explore the base when we had some party crashers. A rescue team came for their downed pilot, and we had to bug out. I had sent Nissek to scan the perimeter, and I’m waiting to hear if she found anything as she just made it back to the team. [O]

Rachel spun around at the comm message from the first officer, a downed pilot was just up her alley and the fact that she couldn’t do much to help here was aggravating. She needlessly smoothed her trousers as she watched the others quietly, her crooked grin constant and mirthless.

The chatter seemed to die down among the MacArm squad as they waited for some higher up reply. Finally it came =/\= Squad Season you are clear for interrogation, good hunting. =/\= Came a mirthfilled chuckle.

With that the MacArm squad began to question the officer, what was said wasn’t picked up, but the man either wasn’t answering, or wasn’t giving them words they liked to hear.

Ari nodded. “We can try that. Hopefully we won’t get questioned too much. We can use the excuse of being on a mission as a reason for the out of uniform garb. But if they start asking questions, we stun them. I don’t want a firefight. Agreed?” She glanced to Adams to be sure she had heard. “Let’s get going.”

As they started to scoot back towards the door to go back to the others, she replied to McKnight. [O]See what info you can give. We are about to see if we can get some local info as well.[O] There was the sound of a smile in her voice. [O] Check back in in an hour. We will coordinate a ship return then to see what we’ve all come up with. Captain out [O]
