[snip]OOC: Splitting off the below....
Not having gotten any specific orders from anyone Rende took it upon herself to simply do what she felt was a the best use of her skills and time. She found a vantage point where she could watch the street in both directions and keep an eye out for anyone approaching.

On the roof meanwhile Asam had a decent perch to view the surrounding area. About three blocks over on a raised hill was a stone government like building. Said building was currently burning from likely a day or two old caused fire that had gone untended. Half of the three story building was a ruin, the other half dark cinder of stone and wood. To her east, about a quarter mile down the road she could hear the distant shouts and exchange of gunfire. If she peered through any type of binoculars or the like she would see a southern labeled MacArm APC and a squad of six MacArm soldiers firing upon another group of northern soldiers without an APC. The northern forces were slightly better in number, about 20 or so, but it seemed they lacked any form of anti-armor weapons to combat the APC directly. Asam could easily reach the APC’s tracks with her phase pistol or course, if she felt like helping the northern forces, but that would no doubt draw attention to their location.

Rende laid prone on the roof top, still, barely enough movement to tell she was breathing. This was hostile territory and she had no desire to be spotted. She took in the layout of the surrounding area. The fire damage told her it had been going for awhile, but why was no one putting it out. Was the area so deserted? Or was it some kind of chemical fire that didn’t burn out on its own? The sound of gunfire and shouting drew her attention. She pulled out her binoculars, attaching a visor to the lenses so the light, one would not inhibit her view, and two to make sure the light didn’t reflect off the lenses and give away her position. Long years of military training allowed her to assess the situation. She couldn’t make that choice though. She and Eldorin had interfered too many times and learned the hard way not to get involved anymore. She would not make that decision and she had no idea, really, what side was what. She pulled out her communicator, not wanting to take eyes off the scene. “Asam to Bovar and Black. You two might want to come up to the roof and see this, quickly. And stay low, you don’t want to be spotted.”
Once they arrived she passed the binoculars to them and pointed. “We might want to get out of here before they get here.”
