Coming over to the pilot they could tell now clearly they were male. The smashed up pilot’s ejector seat was evident a few feet away. The pilot had probably been partly conscious when he landed but then passed out from injuries after crawling a bit away. When they would check for a pulse they would find one, it was very slow, a little weak but steady.

Acting quickly Atozi moved to the body “Check for any weapons” the last thing she needed was to be shot when she tried to save his life. She started by running her hands along his body having quartered his body legs, arms, head and torso to see if she could find any bleeding before turning him over. “My name is Atozi, I am a doctor if you can hear me please squeeze my hand.” She put her hand in his and waited.

There was the faintest whisper of a squeeze on her hand, but no other real sign of response. The man was still quite out of it mostly.

Jonathan had followed along behind Atozi and Fleet, keeping an eye on the surrounding area. Hopefully they would have enough time before anyone came investigating the crash.

As he kept his eyes moving, he had his scanner out, looking for any potential locals coming there way.

Scanner checks showed no signs of locals moving their way within a 1/2 mile radius. They were effectively alone for now.

Tucking the scanner back into his pocket, Jonathan moved up to where Atozi and Fleet were with the pilot.

“As soon as he is stable enough to move, we need to get back under cover. We are too much out in the open here right now, and we don’t know if those other fighters will be coming back with reinforcements.”
