Man I am lost in the main sim I have no clue what’s going on if it is ok with you can I run a side sim so the Officers who didn’t go on the away team will have something to do. We still have the radiation leaks we can do more in depth repairs on them.
And I can do some maintenance on the ships weapons and targeting systems.

It happens,

You might have already seen this but I refer back to this sometimes, https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf1/bonaventure/posts/115152/ it has Isaac down on the away team mingling with the civilians so i’d start there. They seem to be doing a great job at the end of a rifle! The Second away team are currently searching a wreckage of a downed jet and administering aid to the pilot.

I’m sure someone can bring up to speed better for the Civilian post than I, since I jump in and out from time to time to read it.

Hi James. I’m in the Civilian thread so will catch you up. Basically we beamed down outside of a town. There were signs and a newspaper found that had English and an alien script written there, so a pretty good rosetta stone in a way. On walking toward the town there were sounds of gunfire from within, people’s voices and some heavy machinery/vehicle moving but not seen. Two women ran along our path as we were looking at a couple of hover craft which had failed with what looked to be an EMP strike. They were followed by five soldier types, their leader a woman. The women, who were carrying what looked to be ration packs were shot in the legs. All but one of the away team was concealed behind the wreckage. The ‘one’ seen by the soldiers is the focus of their attention and we’re waiting for the go ahead to .. act.

What Gene said. Plus as I said before James there is simply nothing to do on the ship, the radiation is taken care of, the ship has more important things to do then maintenance on weapons and such all of which are planet side.
