Looking around, Jonathan did a quick head count. “Looks like we are all here. Hope you have everything you need. And remember, we are here to observe, and figure out why this abandoned military base appears not to be so abandoned.”

Taking the lead, he stepped onto the transporter. As everyone took their places, he turned to the transporter chief.

“Let’s do this. Energize.”
