After his duty shift, the Chief Engineer did not have any thing else to do and he has brought this bottle with him. He sat down in the mess hall, dropped two ice cubs into his class and poured the drink. It was never cool to drink alone, but it was better than not drinking at all.

Lt. Sanks walked into the mess hall and walked past the Chief Engineer on his way to get food. “Hello Sir. What are you drinking?” He asked, he didn’t want to be rude and just walk past him.
LT. Sanks, Linguist.

Bohannon looked up and responded,

“Nothing much…just some Scotch. Would you like to sit and join me?”

“I will join you, Sir. Let me get this food real quick and I will be back.” Lt. Sanks responded then walked up to an open replicator. “Pok tar and plomeek tea please.” he told the replicator and it produced the food and the drink. He took his items and sat down with Lt. Bohannon. “I believe this is our first actual meeting, I’m Lt. Roger Sanks, I’m the linguist.
