Beth had forgone the partying the night before. Since her move to Intel and her fall from grace in security from most of her friends, who now considered her a tattletail, she had chosen to use her time last night to read up on some files Baumann had given her to study. They were old mission files of intel officers in the past. She was to learn from them.

She was sitting in the office, a fresh pot of coffee on, reading some more. Her boots were under her desk, legs curled under her, as she sat in her chair absently rocking with some silent tune in her head.

Lt Elizabeth Prescott Sec/Intel

The doors to the Intel suite slid open and the big German came through. Seeing Prescott, he inclined his head slightly and said “Good morning, Lieutenant. What have we on the agenda today?”

Baumann, Intel

“Morning,” she smiled looking up. “Didn’t expect you so early. Well it seems, from what I’ve gathered from the bridge, we’re stuck in some just discovered system, unable to move. And the planet below us is having a nuclear war straight out of the old Earth history books. NE Winston is at one of the science consoles and said there’s a gravity issue. We can’t warp. And also,” she turned to follow him as he walked past her, “the warring planet… well it’s not supposed to be here. The jolt a bit ago was use being yanked from warp.”

Her voice was a mixture of fear and excitement. The fear was a bit more prevalent as she shivered unconsciously. “Oh yeah… and I made coffee.” Her nervous laugh ended the morning update.

OOC: To clarify you’re not stuck in a nebula, that was from the last sim which has since ended. You’re stuck inside a natural solar system. Otherwise the rest is spot on.
