The turbolift brought Commander Jones and others to the aft section of Deck 18 where the entrance to the Shuttle Bay was. The huge, two-deck-tall room was bustling with activity centered around the Flying Angel, a racing yacht with considerable sub-light speed and maneuverability fit in a small hull. The runabout had been positioned for launch and the warp core had been powered up to prepare for launch, however the pre-flight safety check would take some more time with the crew in the cockpit, unless Jones skipped it for a quicker launch toward the Tyche System.

JT Entered the shuttle bay behind the XO ans upon seeing the Flying Angel smirked Thing of beauty he thought to himself. Entering the ship he took his position at the ships helm. As he did he took out a small data chip and inserted it into a nearby socket and uploaded his personal preferences.

“Commander, Ready to begin pre-flight”

BJ followed the pilot into the shuttle. He was happy that he was not leading the away mission. He never liked being in the lead. He was happy to have Jade in the lead. They have been on a couple away missions on the Angel. He could now rib her for what she had done on their first mission together.

“Commander Jones, we going or are we just going to sit here?”
