BJ looked around the quarters that he and his family had on the ship. He was still getting used to the idea that his wife Tralla was the captain. He shouldn’t be. But, he thought she’d take a little more time on the Angel. Tralla had earned his captaincy. He was more getting used to not having as much to do. He was used to being the leader of the department. So this was like being an ensign again. He was actually enjoying getting back to more lab work. He enjoyed that more than the admin work.

Janzen

Tralla Came up behind her husband and hugged him “Hey darling you have a good day?” she asked it was just about dinner time and she had just finished setting the table She kissed him on the neck playfully as she held him

Tralla

He loved that she was affectionate. “Always, but this makes it better, Still getting used to having time for my own stuff.” He loved the feeling of his wife wrapping herself around him. “How you coping with being the leader?”

Janzen

“well it’s not that much different than being an XO but I am getting there…We actually need to talk about something BJ” she said pulling him towards their bedroom Lilith was still due home from her Holodeck time one of the NEs was looking after her at the moment Tralla looked very concerned and unsure what to do

Tralla

She used the word we, need, and to talk. That was never a positive sign. But, they didn’t fight that much. It was usually a quiet thing. “And what might that be?|

Janzen

“Jade has decided to have Mia go live with her grandparents and the offer has been extended to allow Lilith to go with her…I want to know what you think…I know that if I Make her go then she will probably feel abandoned again and I really don’t want her to feel that I Thought maybe letting her make the choice?” she said clearly wanting her husband’s opinion

Tralla

BJ had almost thought she had said Jade’s mom. He wasn’t sure that the Admiral would agree to take both of them. Mia and Lilith were a handful at times. “If she wants to go with Mia, I think we should let her. But you almost had me handing her over to Jade’s mom the Admiral.”

Janzen

That’s the one Don’t ask me how but Jade talked her mom into offering to look after Liltih as well” she said As soon as she is back from the holodeck we will ask her what she wants to do” tralla said sadly she of course did not want to be away from her daughter however she knew that Not giving Liltih a Choice and keeping her on the ship would do nothing to help the relationship between Tralla and Lilith

Tralla

BJ simply nodded. He didn’t want to know how Jade had done it. And he didn’t want to find out. “Whatever she decides doesn’t reflect on you. You’re doing your best. That’s all you can do.”
