Ensign Brekag walked through the sickbay doors and took a seat. He was one of the very few Ferengi to join starfleet, but he believed there was more to life than profits. He aspired to be just like another ferengi that joined starfleet and became a captain, who grew up on a space station helping his relative run a bar. He wanted to help other people, see places no other ferengi has visited.

A tall human stood in the middle of the Sickbay and turned around upon hearing the doors open “Can I help you?” A polite yet empty smile greeted the Ferengi as the man took a few steps closer to the ensign.

Dr. Grey - CMO

“I am new to the ship, and need to do my checkup evaluation.” The ferengi said with a smile. He couldn’t wait to get started working on this ship.

Jack nodded “Aren’t you just?” He said dryly, indicating a nearby biobed “Please have a seat” A nurse walked over with a PaDD and handed it to the white-robed Human “Ensigns Brekag is it?” He asked not waiting for an answer “I’m Doctor Grey, I’ll be conducting your evaluation. Are there any additions to your medical file I should be aware of?”

Dr. Grey - CMO

“Yes, Brekag. I am healthy.” He said sitting on the biobed, thinking to himself, “Some may think I’m crazy for joining Starfleet and not pursuing wealth though.”

Jack raised an eyebrow almost in a Vulcan fashion and grabbed his Tricorder “Quite” he said drily as he waved the wand around the Ferengi’s head and chest “Are you a recent Academy Graduate” Jack asked with polite curiousness.

“Yes, this is my first assignment since graduation. I’m really excited to get started working onboarding this vessel.” Brekag said, watching the doctor work.
