Zoz floated a into the gym and looked about. Most of the exercise equipment was designed for humanoids, ok all of the equipment was designed for humanoids so finding a way to get in cardio when you were a 4 foot long floating squid was going to require inventive solutions. Zoz started by collecting 20 hand weights and liftiting the one on each finger cluster and lift. S/he dipped lower as s/he lifted all 20 tenticles. S/he braced herself and tried holding her/m body in place as s/he lifted. Better but s/he skidded sideways at the same time. Ugh! This was turning out to be as much a mental excercize as a physical one. S/he started alternating every other tenticle curling half up as she curled the other half down. S/he held in place but took on a bit of a spin as she continued the exercises. After ten minutes of continuing the excercise she had developed a fairly rapid spin, was alternating tenticles so that half were going up while half were decending and half of each subgroup were curling in while the other half curled out. S/he was dripping sweat and was bobbing up and down two feet at a time. S/he had drawn a audiance but many had left as her motions caused them motion sickness. S/he stopped worn out when a weight dropped from one of her/m finger clusters. She settled low enough to let the weights rest on the floor and used the weights to cease the spinning. Picking up the dropped weight s/he floated over and placed the weights on a rack and found a corner to hover in till her/m heart and breathing calmed to normal.

IC: Tane had stepped in while Zoz had been working out, since returning from the away mission he had decided he was going to get more fit. His large size was only going to get him so far on dangerous missions, before he would need to have some form of fitness behind him. Since graduating, he had admittingly become more lazy and had let his physic go a little when he no longer had to have regular fitness tests. It had become all to obvious when he hadn’t been able to do anything when either the doctor or XO were targeted or the ship was blown up.

He wanted to become more fit. He really did. But Zoz’s actions were so mesmorizing in a nausiating, hypnotising way, that Tane found his feet firmly rooted to the ground in the middle of the crowd that had gathered to watch the exotic alien train. When Zoz stopped, it was like a rubber band had been snapped, and TeWhiti felt like he could move again without worrying he was going to get dizzy again. When his first step proved that he wasn’t going to do anything embarrasing like stumble, Tane lumbered over to the alien, and held out his un touched drink bottle as an offering. Given he hadn’t done any excercise and after watching that, didn’t feel like he was going to, he felt that Zoz had earned it more than he had. “You look like you need this,” the big man said graciously, as he offered the water, “That was an impressive work out. I’ve never seen anything like it!”

Zoz accepted the water bottle and pulled a straw out of the pouch s/he wore it was part of the belt that held the kilt onto her/m.”Thank you. I am Zoz-Eki-Ion. We have not met before. I am new to this vessel so unknown to most of the crew.”, and s/he offered a tenticle in the human hand grasp custom.

“Nice to meet ya Zoz-Eki-lon,” Tane grinned in his good natured manner and grasped Zoz’s tenticle firmly in his hand, “I’m Tane, welcome aboard.”

“If you don’t mind my asking, where exactly are you from? I have never seen the likes of you before?” He grinned, unable to resist his curiosity but he would understand if Zoz didn’t want to respond
