Jade nodded “I’m fine a little fried but Ok otherwise” she said leaning in to hear what Tralla was going to say.

Azon looked over to the captain “with all due respect ma’am. I dont think it would be wise for you to lead the away team. There’s just to much risk involved.” She hoped she wasn’t stepping out of line but her top priority was keeping the crew and ship in one piece.

Azon, COS

“That’s some good ears you have there Lieutenant!” she said “None the less we will discuss this more once we have finished disabling the enemy ships Would you mind firing back aim for the weapon systems and engines I want them kept alive though” she said not turning to face her Chief of Security

Jade looked at Azon then at Tralla. Jade wasn’t happy about the COS eavesdropping on their conversation but she had to agree with her “She’s right. you’re not going. It’s to risky and besides, i’m not afraid to restrain you if have to” she said partially joking and partially serious.

Mazie finally got back the results of her scan. “The asteroids are of an adequate size to hide behind, and there seems to be enough space to manoeuvre around them. It should also be noted that we can take a few glancing hits from them, but I wouldn’t recommend it.”

Good enough for me Helm get us into the asteroid field and get us hidden!” she ordered putting the conversation between her Jade and Azon on hold for the moment

“If we’ve stopped fighting them, might I recommend that we divert weapons fire to shields and strucutural integrity, Sir?” Wendell asked. “We can also concentrate on the casualty reports and damage control.”

CSO

“We are not done yet Mr Vaughn There are still 6 enemy ships out there,” she said before turning to Jade “And Yes Jade I am Going on this Away mission Its Captains Prerogative Meaning I am going! both of your objections have of course will be noted in the logs as very valid however I am going to choose to ignore them this time” she said in the tone of voice that said ‘I have made my decision and its final!’

Tralla

“Sir, if I may,” Wendell said, “I think that you should at the least take a well-armed escort with you. Such as myself. This clearly requires the skills of the Chief Science Officer.”

CSO

“May we please talk about this after we finished disabling the rest of our attackers they are coming afterus right now!” Tralla sighed “Helm get us in the asteroid field and get us into an ambush position!” she ordered

“Sir, scanners just picked up something.” Fil said.

The ship turned towards the field, the unexpected move causing the pursuers to careen past them briefly, before beginning a turn back. Barely fitting between two asteroids, the memorial dipped behind one, and waited for the captain’s next order.

“alright wait for them to pass over us then rise up behind them and unleash everything we have then get us behind anther and do it again I want to play cat and mouse with these people!” she said smiling deviously

Tralla

“At the risk of seeming rude, I have just came up with a solution, Ma’am,” Wendell blurted out. “What if we ejected our warp core plasma and sort of spread it into a cloud? And put the cloud between us and them?”

“Then when the enemy ships enter that cloud to come and get us, they have fallen into our trap. We fire our weapons at them. The plasma, being highly explosive, detonates.”

CSO

“Do it!” she said simply likeing the Idea it might make it easier hopefully it would disable the ships with out to much trouble

Tralla

“I’ll require input from the ship’s AI, Sir,” Wendell said. “I’ll need her to come up with a firing solution to place the ejected warp plasma where it will effect the most fighters. Yet not harm our own ship.”

CSO

There was a few seconds before the MAZIE responded, “I can get at most three ships caught in the explosion, two of the smaller ones, and one of the larger ones. The others have spread out too much to factor into my solution.”
