“How did you figure that one out?” Fil asked. “Well anyway, here’s one, sulfuric disodium and biloric acid.”

“Lucky guess,” Tane laughed, “Now we’ve got all these chemicals we should see what kind of reaction we can get out of them,”

“OK, you start. How are we going to do this?” Fil wondered. “Even tho the safety protocols are on, we still don’t want to damage any of the ship’s systems”

IC: Tane fixed him with an odd look, “They’re going to be holo-reactions, with safties they can’t cause any damage if the tried.” He walked over to the back of the room, and rummaged around in the cupboard before he came out with a heavy looking metal and glass cage. He heafted it onto Penji’s bench. “This little beauty is a containment cage, all the more dangerous explosions we’ll do in here, and if we keep them small we shouldn’t have any trouble.

“OK, let’s start. You pick the chemicals this time. Let’s see what we can come up with.” Fil said as he made sure all the safeties were on.

Tane hummed as he went back through the chemicals that he had identified, selecting the sulpher and potassium nitrate. “Computer replicate some charcol,” he ordered, watching as the black powder materialised in front of him before he combined the three powders together and ground them into one powder. He carfully put them into a pile in the explosive cage and offered Penji a phaser, “Would you like the honours?”

Fil aimed the phaser, set at a low setting, and fired. The yellowish green flame that appeared was spectacular. “Wow! I didn’t expect that.” Fil said. “Let’s get daring now,
combine Biloric acid with Sulfuric disodium. What do you get with those.”

“A green and blue elxplosion,” Tane rubbed his hands together eagarly, as he took the two chemicals from Fil and used a pair of tongs to pour them together in the explosive cage.
