Tor didn’t bother to stop at his quarters before heading straight to the bridge. His security access having already been transmitted with his orders, he stepped off the turbolift and walked directly to the Ready Room door without so much as a glance around. He had already become very familiar with the Memorial. As soon as his orders had been sent to him he began studying all the schematics, repair logs, dry dock maintenance records, and crew files he could get his hands on. Over the past week he had memorized not only the layout, but most of the ship’s Engineering history.

As he approached the door, he reached into his bag and pulled out a blue box made of thin metal sealed with a matching metal lid. Touching the chime, he stood straight up and waited.

A young Trill NE walked upto him she was in Operations gold “Sir The captain is not in there would you like me to locate her for you” the trill had short black hair with red dyed tips that laid in a natural lazy messy look while still being tasteful “By the way I am Ensign Kaz I work in Engineering!” she said smiling in a very friendly manor

Tor looked at the young Engineer and smiled. “A pleasure, Ensign. And yes please, if you could locate her that would be ideal. Thank you. And I look forward to talking with you, as well. I’m the new Chief Engineer.”

OCC this is an example of the only time the rest of the crew can “Voice” the AI when they are giving simple directions ok guys just for clarification keep things moving along and clear for everyone

“Great!” she said then turning she said “Hay Maisie…Where is Captain Zoarhi?” she asked kindly a female voice came over the intercom “the captain is in her quarters I do believe she just finished getting her daughter ready for school and will be escorting her to the school before coming to the bridge” the AI responded

Tor nodded and said simply. “Excellent. I’ll wait.” and he sauntered over to the Engineering console. Looking over the data, the big Bolian nodded slightly and made a soft “mm-hmmm’ sound as he reviewed the overall diagnostic readouts.

A short time later the turbolift doors opened and out stepped an Andorian woman who was a bit taller than most standing at about 5’ 10” she had neck length silver hair her eyes were obviously cybernetic being the most obviously fake shade of brilliant bright green possible she had a tasteful layer of makeup applied seafoam green lipstick and eyeshadow she was lean yet well build her right antenna showed a faint white scar where it seemed it had once been severed just below the scar was an Andorian Wedding band meaning she was a married woman

Tralla instantly noticed the Bolian “You must be Lieutenant Tor Maisie informed me that you had arrived I am Captain Tralla Zoarhi come lets talk in my Ready room” she said moving to the door after offering to shake his hand

Taking her hand in a firm but friendly grip, the Bolian nodded and said “A pleasure to meet you, Captain. Please, after you.” and he allowed her to enter before him.

She lead him into the room “Can I offer you something to drink” she said moving to the replicator while at the same time motioning to offer him a seat infront of her desk

“A cup of apple cider would be lovely, Ma’am. Thank you.” the big blue Engineer replied. “Oh, and if I may.” and he set the blue box he was carrying on the desk as he took a seat. “I took the liberty prior to my departure.” He removed the lid, and inside were several bars of pastry iced in a light blue frosting. “I trust you have received my personnel record, Captain?”

“One Apple Cider” she ordered from the replicator once it had materialized she brought it over to the desk as she handed him the cup of Cider he would notice the frame of what used to be a Borg assimilation Tendril implant on her right hand she then looked at the box and smiled “Well thank you I will save these for later” she said smiling “and yes I saw that your also hailed as one of the best chefs in the Federation” she added turning and sitting back at her desk “Welcome to the USS Memorial have you studied our ships tech manuels yet” she asked getting right to buisness

Tor nodded at the compliment and said “Thank you, Ma’am.” and then took the cider and sipped it. “I have familiarized myself with the ship’s schematics, tech manuals, and maintenance history for the past two inspection cycle, Ma’am. Other than some chronic minor issues that I believe I can address with some minor modifications and a re-calibration of the power grid, I see no issues that stand out. I trust my predecessor left complete logs of current projects and crew assignments? I don’t see any reason to come in and start changing everything around unless necessary.”

Thats good to know” she replied “Have you also studied what is available on our Entity AI unit?” she added questioningly clearly she was just making sure he was best suited for the job

Tor looked at the Captain with a slightly confused look and said “Do you mean the ENINTADI tactical, defense, and navigational AI, Ma’am? If so, then yes. I received a full briefing prior to my departure. I plan on ‘introducing myself’ when I get settled. I don’t see many issues arising there, as it is sequestered mostly to the tactical and electronic warfare suites.”
