T’Han Rado found her mate Rado Gainn sitting a shuttle, checking off a list on a PADD. “I trust that Captain Nightroad granted you leave?”

Gainn whipped his head and upon seeing who it was , he said, “Yes, he, uh, gave me three days, which more than I requested, which is nice.”

“I see,” T’Han responded. Gainn seemed so adamant that his sister was alive again. “Have you contemplated the possibility that your sister truly is dead and the message was sent with malignant con artist?”

Gainn paused what he was doing and sighed heavily. “Prophets, I hope not.” He said, looking at her pitifully. “I’ve regretted how we said goodbye. As I was leaving to play some rounds of Springball with my friend Ragu Gasha, she ironically told me to killed while playing. I told her....not to get killed reading her book. If I’d known…”

Rado illogically did not finish his sentence, merely hanging his head in silence. Knowing that this would be a meaningful occurrence whether his sister Xamis is alive or not, T’Han spoke up. “I insist on coming with you, Gainn.”

Rado looked at his wife and smiled slightly “T-thanks, T’Han. This means a lot,” Rado said, “Are you, uh, sure about this?”

“I am certain.”

“Well, uh, everything is packed.” Rado said, looking around the shuttle. “A phaser or two, blankets, jumja sticks. Oh, I’ll send you a picture of what Xamis might look like on your PaDD.”

Just after sending the pictures of Xamis to T’Han, he heard the voice from his combadge telling that he was in the clear. He powered on the shuttle and lifted it of the ground. ‘I’m coming, Xamis,’, Rado thought as the shuttle left the USS Memorial.
