Snip“Then you are dismissed,” Silva said with a nod and a cheery wave of his hand. “Go forth and engineer.” And with that he turned back to his own work and headed towards the office.

Chief Medical Officer“Yes commander.” She said nothing and heading out.

U.S.S. MemorialThere was a loud crash coming from one of the back offices. Lance came walking out with his ferret in his hand. “ sorry sir. It looks like Astro here. Was able to sneak into sick Bay again.” the little ferret had beautiful white fur and a little blue eyes and it seems to be smiling. “ it is about time for my shift to end here. I’m going to take him back to my quarters and might have to put him into a force field to keep him from sneaking out of my quarters again”
Dr. Lance Nightingale (Medical Ensign)
Sliva just looked at Nightingale, then the ferret, then Nightingale then back to the ferret and just shook his head. “If one of the nurses catches that thing near one of the critical patients I am not cleaning up the mess,” he vaguely threatened but not in a mean way. After another small sigh he added, “This is why I like plants.”

Chief Medical OfficerLance finally caught his ferret Astro “sorry sir but he was in his cage this morning and I made sure I locked it and left him in my quarters. I don’t know how he keeps on getting out.” Lance took Astro into his office, where he had a small area with tubes for him to climb through. “ because you’re escaping our quarters just to be here with me. I might as well start bringing you to sick Bay with me, but you’ll be locked in my office and I’ll get more tubes for you.” He said to his little ferret that just looked at him and yawned before curling up around his owners neck

Silva arched an eyebrow at Nightingale as he talked about his office and then shook his head. It wasn’t worth pointing out the communal offices were not a place for ferrets either. He then retreated to the CMO’s office, unless Nightingale stopped him, to file the reports that he had been avoiding before having to conduct rounds and prepare for shift change. A CMO’s duty is never done.

Lt. Cmdr Sharvi entered sick bay and headed toward his office, he saw Nightingale with the ferret. “Why does he have a tribble?” He asked himself as he walked into his office. He had come in before his shift, because he also had reports he needed to complete and thought the best time to do it would be before starting his shift.
