OOC: This is just something I’ve cooked up to entertain y’all while we are GM-less.

IC: Rado just got off-duty and was preparing to enjoy it. He replicated a cup of kava juice and sat on a chair in . After a few moments of staring blankly at a wall, he pulled out his PADD. Not really knowing what to do, he open his file and begun reading. But upon review, he saw a glaring error, one that shouldn’t be there. “Th-this can’t be right.” He said, standing up. He left his quarters to find answers.

Walking through the halls eventually lead Rado to a Betazoid ensign from the operations division. He explained the predicament to the ensign the best he could. The ensign asked to see the PADD and spent ten silent seconds before telling Rado that there was no error. The ensign handed the PADD back to him and went on his merry way. Rado stood in silence before saying to himself, “T’Han has some explaining to do.”

He made his way to the security department area, where he found T’Han working. “T’Han!” He called out to get her attention as he got closer. As soon as he got within arms’ reach, he asked the Vulcan the big question, “Since when are we married?!”

T’Han didn’t even blink. “Since you assisted me through my pon farr recently.” She said matter-of-factly.

Rado froze. About a week ago, T’Han underwent pon farr. With no other ‘logical’ prospects on board, T’Han had requested that Rado ‘relieve her of her urges’. He was initially very reluctant to do it but agreed to do it after a rather colorful video call from her parents. Soon after the deed, T’Han gave him a necklace and then they had dinner with her parents. Rado thought that was weird, but the weirdest part of that evening occurred when he and T’Han stood facing each other and then touched faces for some reason.

‘Wait, didn’t T’Han say something about all that?’, Rado thought, before speaking out loud, “W-wait, were you, uh, serious about what you said after I…helped you? I thought you were joking!”

“I was not. We did partake in Vulcan marital rituals.”

What a situation Rado found himself in. His sister Xamis would have gotten a kick out of this. “Pah-wraiths.” Rado muttered under his breath.

T’Han tilted her head in apparent confusion. “I did not anticipate this response from you, considering your obvious attraction to me.” She stated plainly.

“W-what?” Rado asked nervously, blushing.

“You are attracted to me, as evidenced by regular increases in oxytocin occur when I am in your presence.” T’Han intoned as Rado’s heartbeat increased. “Furthermore, scans show that your reaction during our coupling indicates high satisfaction.”

‘Wait, did T’Han just admit to having scanners during…the thing’, Rado thought before asking, “Wait, did you, uh-“

“My parents insisted,” T’Han explained, cutting him off, “They wanted to study the Bajoran male body during intimacy.”

“Gross,” Rado responded, cringing slightly.

“Indeed.”

There was a bit of an awkward pause. Well, awkward for Rado at least. T’Han stared at him, expecting him to say something.

He finally did. “Fine, I have a crush on, uh, you,” Rado admitted, “So what?”

“So, I believe we should discuss the implications of our mutual affections.” T’Han said, much to Rado’s shock.

“M-mutual?” He wheezed out.

“Yes. Mutual. It is when feelings of two or more beings are recipicated,” T’Han explained unnessessarily.

“I know what mutual means,” Rado answered. “I just never thought that someone like you would feel the same way.”
