USS Memorial
Check in with Counselor
As Sara Lovejoy left Sickbay, she took a moment just outside the doors to gather her thoughts. Adjusting the front of her uniform, she began walking down the softly lit corridor, her boots tapping lightly against the polished deck plating. The soft hum of the USS Memorial’s engines echoed faintly through the bulkheads as she moved through the curved hallway, passing crew members who offered polite nods in acknowledgment.
Her pace was steady and purposeful, though there was a calmness in her stride — a quiet determination to follow through on her decision to check in with the ship’s Counselor. Along the way, she passed through several junctions, the glow of LCARS panels reflecting off the metallic walls, and took a brief moment at a viewport. Beyond the glass, the stars drifted slowly by, a tranquil reminder of the vastness surrounding the ship.
Taking a soft breath, Sara continued toward Deck 4. She stepped into the nearest turbolift, instructing it with a clear, composed tone, “Deck Four, Counselor’s Office.” The lift responded with a soft chime before smoothly descending. As the doors opened, she stepped out and followed the corridor until she reached the Counselor’s door.
After a brief pause, she straightened her posture, pressed the door chime, and waited patiently for permission to enter.
