The doors to Sickbay hissed open and Major Vektul stepped through with the measured precision of someone who preferred not to waste time—his or anyone else’s. He carried a PADD tucked neatly beneath one arm, his uniform immaculate, posture straight.

He took a moment to glance around the room, observing the layout, the staff, the order of things.

Satisfied enough.

He approached the nearest nurse’s station and stood with his hands behind his back.

“I am Major Vektul,” he said in a low, even tone. “I’ve recently transferred aboard. I am here for my boarding physical.”

He waited calmly, unreadable as stone.
