As the ship rocked under the phaser fire, the doors to sickbay opened up and a couple of walking wounded entered before sitting down on a couple of chairs.

Seconds later, two injured crew were beamed in, one unconscious with significant burns across their body, and the other alert but with a piece of his femur sticking out from his leg.

Lt. Cmdr. Sharvi quickly went over to the officers that walked through the doors and started observing them with the tricorder. When the two other patients were beamed in, he seen the one with his femur sticking out, called to some medical ensigns to assist with the walk in officers and immediately started evaluating the patient.

The patient was conscious, but in a lot of pain. He had fractured his right leg in multiple places, with part of the bone displaced and protruding from a wound in the skin. There didn’t seem to be a major amount of blood loss, but it was still creating a mess over the sickbay floor.

Frank came over to Sharvi from where he was helping other patients, triaging this as a more urgent situation. “Commander. Where do you need me?” he asked, letting Sharvi run the scene as it were, making himself available to help treat.

Dr. Nightingale he was moving fast. He was already conducting nurses to start moving the most serious injuries to the front of the line and getting people are in danger of dying Into the ER. Some crew entered and told nightingale something and he grabbed medical kit and rushed into the hall. A few moments later he was back with a patient who now has a belt around his leg acting as a tourniquet. To help slow the blood loss. Lance took a deep breath in and let it go and went right back to work.

OOC: I hope you don’t mind, but I thought I would provide some feedback on this post, for everyone’s benefit. Whilst there is nothing wrong with it, it feels very summarised - as if you were telling someone after the fact what you had done. You could have made it more of a narrative by explaining your characters actions and thinking. For example:

Dr Nightingale was moving fast, the adrenaline from the situation coursing through his body. He quickly turned to two nurses, pointing them in the direction of a new set of injured crewmen. “Nurses, triage those coming into sickbay. Let’s get those requiring urgent attention to the front of the line and, if needed, into surgery.

Suddenly, two crew came into sickbay, and shouted toward Nightingale. “Help, there’s been an explosion in the corridor.”

Also, do use the prompts that I have given. The unconscious burns victim is still lying on the floor…

“This guy’s situation is serious, but manageable, I just need to get this leg treated a bit more, and he’ll be ready for surgery, however, I don’t think anyone has checked on that guy on the floor. If you could assess him for me.” He asked Dr. Silva. Hearing the cry for help, he instinctly responded to the crewman, “Dr. Nightingale just sent nurses to the hallway to assist, please show them where to go, we can assess their injuries once the nurses have brought them in.”
