Saxon burst through the Sickbay doors and headed directly to the biobed where the fighter pilot lay. The pilot was in rough shape and was in need of some quick surgery.

“Doctor, I need answers from Arkis. He needs to stay awake just a bit longer.”

He bent down close to the pilots face. The scent of burned flush was something you never forgot after smelling it the first. The CIO pushed down the gag reflex and began speaking calmly to her.

“Lt., the is McCleary. Can you hear me? What happened?”

“Nightingale,” Silva greeted as he walked out of his office adjusting his coat, half moon glasses slung low on his face, “Status report.” He looked around and motioned to a couple of nurses, “Find Royce. Have her work on the others.”

With the other patients covered under the watchful eye of Isabella, Frank turned back to the pilot as he fished his his tricorder out to start the scans. A paternal glance Saxon later, he coughed, “Please don’t over excite the patient, Commander. Heart Rates are delicate things.”

“Understood, doctor, but I need some answers,” McCleary replied.

Lance went to the pilot that the Lt. commander was questioning. “Sir I need to sedate him you questions we have to wait until after surgery” he said loading a hyper spray getting ready to use it. “I can’t sit here and wait when this man is in pain. He can’t give you anything the only thing he said was he was attacked by us” lance used the hyper spray on the pilot to ease his suffering. And continued to prep him for surgery.

“Ensign,” Saxon exclaimed with emphasis put on the doctor’s rank. ” I need her awake and coherent. Give her something for the pain if you must, but the captain wants answers to where she blinked out from. She may be the difference between us being stuck in this universe and us getting home.

=^=Nightroad to Sickbay, has Lieutenant Arkis said anything that might be useful to us.=^= Cain said over the communications channel.

Nightroad, CO

=&=I’m working on it, Captain, but I keep getting interrupted. I’ll leave the channel open so you can hear if she answers.=^=

Leaning back to close to the pilot, Saxon began his questions again. “Lt. what happened to you? Where did you go? Who attacked you? Please Lt. stay with me.”

Frank looked between Saxon and Lance and took a step back, but still looking over the Ensign’s shoulder. “Give her a mild sedative,” he decided. “Not a general. Get her pain managed so that she can answer McCleary’s questions.”

“Thank you, Dr. Silva. hopefully, she’ll still be able to focus,” McCleary replied. He looked at at Nightingale and nodded. “You heard the man. . . .”

After a few moments watching the situation he tacked on to McCleary, “Perhaps, Commander, a good place to start is to tell the Captain about what she has said so far? That she has come through some sort of space and time anomaly where she was attacked by the Memorial?” He glanced to the patient then and added, “Was that a good summary?”

Saxon nodded to Silva this time and replied, ‘Thanks.”

=^=Captain, did you hear that? Lt. Arkis stated that she had slipped through a space/time distortion and was attacked by an alternate Memorial. If that is the same rip our Memorial came though, it would stand to reason that this universe’s Memorial switched places with us. The Excalibur’s captain thinks he’s conversing with HIS Memorial. If we can get back to our space, the other Memorial should return here., that is, according to the Pauli Exclusion Principle.=^=

Lance didn’t like the way the intelligence officer handled the patient. He already told him what she said and forcing the pilot to stay awake and conscience even though she was in pain and not letting her get treatment done until he was satisfied with answers. As he was there he was giving him the eyes that showed how upset he was with this man
