Lance was relaxing his mind and body in the shuttle to his new home. As the shuttle exited warp he saw it through the front view window the U.S.S. Memorial he took the shuttle off auto pilot and started his approach. He volunteered to make the trip out here with next resupply trip so not to waste any one’s time.

As he entered com range he set his message

“This is resupply shuttle 946.876 to Memorial shuttle tower I am starting final approach requesting clearance for landing”

OOC: We are in the middle of the sim and where we are you couldn’t get to by shuttle so this is pre sim

Sabik was taking a shift in the shuttle bay when the communication to land came in. After a moment, Sabik tapped the panel and said, “Memorial to shuttle 946.876. be advised you have clearance to land in Shuttle Bay 1 to perform resupply operations.” The reason for Sabik to be in the shuttle bay was to receive needed science parts.

The shuttle landed and the back opened Lance gave the dock hand the cargo manifest and started to go over everything on the list with them to make sure everything was there. Even a well padded box that looked like specialized custom ordered equipment. Lance then went to the wall panel “computer please mark Ensign Nightingale as arrived, and please notify XO and department head of my arrival.” The computer beeped and did what it was asked “can you show me my way to my room” he asked

“Very presumptuous of you to have the computer do your work for you,” Silva said coming around the corner. The commander, at full height was slightly taller than average but certainly not one to cast an imposing figure. Slung low across his nose was a pair of half moon glasses that the doctor always seemed to be looking over, in a half judgmental, half mischievous stare “You should present yourself to your department head, in person, always. It is only proper and respectful. However seeing that the computer notified me of your impending docking, you don’t have to go very far. Commander Frank Silva, Chief Medical Officer.”

He made a point to fold his hands behind his back and gave a clipped bob of his head, “Report to sick bay, find Doctor Royce, complete your onboarding physical and psych eval in the next 48. You will be on second shift.”

He looked back over to Sabik and smiled warmly, actually getting a little excited, “Are those Botany cases for Vulcan snapping vine? Oh fascinating stuff!” He cleared his throat then and gained some composure, before turning back to Lance, “Anything else, Ensign Nightingale?”

OOC: um he was only getting the paperwork part of his transfer completed. His interaction with the computer is just to notify that he made it on safely and he will meet them as soon as they have time

Lance looked at the CMO “no sir just getting paper work done i will meet with everyone when they have time and for me to get my boarding procedures completed” at this time a little ferret that was wrapped around Lance’s neck poked out from under the shirt collar ” I also need to get Astro into her new home” he said with a small smile

The CMO narrowed his eyes briefly at the ferret and then just shook his head before looking back to Nightingale. “Very well. Try not to bring the weasel into Sickbay. I don’t want it munching my violets.”

After a moment he looked down at his PaDD then back up, “What are you, anyway, Nightingale? Doctor, Nurse, medic? Your file is rather vague.”

Lance smiled at him “I am a doctor sir I can treat the ill and perform surgeries when needed but my specialty is rehab and physical wealth” (chiropractor, massager, recovery) he said as he gathered his bags
