As Cain exited the briefing room, he looked at Viktoryia and said, “Number 1, let’s get some local and long range scans of the area. We don’t know where we are so let’s find out if anyone is around.

After the XO acknowledged, Cain crossed the Bridge looking at his chair and chuckled in his mind thinking, ‘She is going to get to sit in the center chair before me.’ Cain thought about jumping into the chair for a second and snickered before dismissing the idea. Looking back at her he said, “Let me know what you find out, I’ll be in my ready room.”

Tolly stepped out of the ready room and took his place at the operations station. He took a deep breath, hoping that his outburst in the briefing room hadn’t soured relations between himself and the new Captain.
