OOC: This is the meeting that as Captain Nightroad, I asked LCDR Tolly to get everyone to. You are already a DH on the ship or you came with me on the shuttle and are about to be a DH on the ship. The cube is being investigated in Science Lab 1 by LT Sabik’s team which the CSO has left to come to the meeting after being there. Everyone is in the room right now as Captain Nightroad, Commander Ravenfall and Boomer are entering so please don’t sneak in, haha.

Cain walked thought the doors to the briefing room, he knew that this would be his first impression to most of the Department Heads so he thought about how to start. Walking to the head of the table, he stopped and said, “My name is Captain Cain Nightroad and as of an hour ago I assumed command of the Memorial.” He waited for a moment before starting again, “From what I have learned in the previous Captain’s report, we are no longer in our own universe and the He and the XO took my shuttle to try and find a way back to our home universe.”

“I have looked at each of your records as I tried to figure out which of you would become my Executive Officer and one thing kept repeating in my head and that is I need each of you where you are doing what you do if we are to figure out what is happening and finding a way back home.” Cain spoke with stern expression and continued, ” With that Commander Ravenfall will be the Executive Officer, she was somehow zapped to the ship and has command experience.” With that he looked at the group and asked. “What have you all uncovered so far?” and waited for responses from the table as he finally sat down.

Nightroad, CO

Lucas had then had his pad in his hand of the current information of the cube. “Sir. With what my team and I have gotten so far with the science department on the cube is very limited. We don’t know the language dialect. The cube came from a unknown regions as far as we know. But other than that. That’s what we got on the cube sir.” Lucas said to Captain Nightroad.

Frank had come aboard with Nightroad and Ravenfall, but had peeled off at some point and then reconnected at this briefing. He was scrolling the medical case files from the last few months while waiting for the others to accumulate but when Nightroad spoke he slid the PaDD away and listened intently, eyes scanning the CO and XO from behind his silver framed glasses.

Makoto watched shyly from her seat she was still getting used to this place she even still had to do her medical and psych evals She just hoped there would be time soon to really get settled in
