Shortly after Lola finished checking in with the doctor, she started to walk out of Sickbay. The sickbay doors had then swooshed wide open and she began to walk through the ship’s corridor. She then found a turbolift. As she got up to the turbolift the doors swooshed wide open in front of her. She had then stepped right in and said “Counselor’s office.” She said to the computer. The computer then acknowledged the order and the turbolift doors had then swooshed shut. The turbolift had then started to move and took her to the deck where the counselor’s office was. The lift had a grinding halt on the deck. Lola had then been smiling. The lift doors swooshed wide open for her to walk right on out and off the lift. Later as she walked off the lift, the doors swooshed closed as it sat there in stationary mode. Lola then looked up from her PaDD and noticed that the counselor’s office was off to her left. Lola then turned to face the door and then pressed the chime, smiling away awaiting to go in.

Dev’Res had gotten to his office from his trip to the ship. He set his bag down and looked at the small pile of PaDDs on his desk. He smiled, knowing that keeping busy was going to be the order of the day.

As he walked toward the desk, the chime went off. “It’s open!” he hoped a more cheerful tone would set the mood for his first interaction on the ship.

Lola then walked in and said. “Hello counselor. I am Petty Officer Lola Logan. Yeoman on board. Just thought I’d do a little check in.” She said eagerly.

“Ahh yes, Welcome Petty Officer. Please have a seat” Dev’Res motioned to the couch as he walked over to his desk and moved some PaDDs around. “You just came in the runabout didn’t you?”

He picked up the PaDD and sat down on a chair near the couch.

“Yes sir. I do apologize if I was a little late been trying to get myself used to being on a different class vessel. My last assignment was on a Pendragon class of you see in my service record. It should be there counselor.” She said. Wasn’t sure if she was in the right or not.
