Miz’uki sadly moved to ring the chime on the Captains ready room her mother had not gotten any better and it was time the fact was She could no longer be the Memorials CE and her plans were to be put on hold for the time being But she did have good news for him she just hoped that her replacement was ready for the challenges ahead

Miz’uki rang the chime and waited for permission to enter

OOC, Jack could you take this as it will happen before the events taking place at present, Kira is taking one CE off and bringing another CE on.

IC: The Captain looked up from his desk, finalising details for the handover to the incoming CO. He hadn’t informed the crew yet; mainly under the orders of Starfleet Command who wanted to make him ‘disappear’ for a secret assignment that even the Captain (or indeed the GM) knew about.

“Come in!” he called out.

Miz’uki walked in “Captain Sorry to bother you but…I have something i need to inform you of…” she said softly as she walked up a PaDD in her hand it contained the letter that she had received she handed it to the Captain to read

I am afraid the time has come you are needed Mother is on her deathbed she has a limited time left You don’t have to come right away however the clan has spoken and as part of the deal for you joining Starfleet The moment that Mother departs for the hereafter you are to be the Head of the clan for at least 5 years and after that you can find a replacement and go back to Starfleet if that is your desire Im sorry sis but someone has to step up and mother made it clear she wants it to be you!
