John stepped off the turbolift and headed to the cargo bay. He turned to see Lt. Turner running down the corridor to meet him. He hadn’t had a chance to meet the new Chief of Security, but it looked like this was as good a time as any. He quickly extended his hand. “Lt. Tolly, Chief of Operations,” he said, shaking the Lieutenant’s hand as the two walked double-time to the cargo bay. “We just received a distress call from a Federation shuttlecraft. We just pulled it into the shuttle bay. There is a Captain Nightroad on board,” he said with a slight shrug as they reached the shuttle bay. “So far, that’s all we know.” Inside, the craft had just landed. John snapped to attention as the door to the shuttle started to open.

Cain waited for the door of the shuttle craft to open and stepped out with Dr. Silva and Boomer. Looking at the Lieutenant he said. “Lieutenant, please take me to your Commanding Officer.” Cain kneeled down and scratched Boomer while waiting for a response.
