Rado sat in the brig guard’s chair, watching the Ferengi, who was still crying. Prophets, Rado thought to himself, I was on Bajor under the Cardassians for 2 decades and I’ve cried less! After shoving aside the guilt from that thought, a thought entered his mind. If Lieutenant McCleary orders him to leave, should he do so? There was probably something in the rulebook about not letting an interregator alone with a suspect, but Rado knew that he shouldn’t upset the higher-ups further. He really pushed it with the question he asked Lieutenant Turner about how many people died because of him. In hindsight, that was a really dumb question. Gasha always said that he was his own worst enemy. Gasha. He hadn’t heard from her in a while. Huh. Maybe he should-
His thoughts were interrupted by the sounds of the brig doors opening.

Jason steped into the brig having seen the check in, he stepped up to Ensign Rado. “What do we got Ensign, who’s our guest and why is he crying?” he said a little uncomfortable that a grown adult was acting in such away.

“Meet Frax. He’s a Ferengi that caused us a whole lot of trouble involving a cube he wanted sell on the black markets. As to why he’s been crying for the past half hour, I’ve got theories ranging from him being the family dunce who finally got to do an acquisition only to blow it to him being only recently switching from diapers…sir.”

Jack looked over his shoulder at the Ferengi, “His lobes do look a little under developed.” he noted then turned back to Rado, “Has anyone interigated him yet?” he said looking back over at the Ferengi, with a looked that suggested it would not be a good thing if Jack did the interogation.

“Lieutenant McCleary said he would take care of it, but he hasn’t been done yet.” Rado pursed his lips, debating whether or not he should ask his question that he was thinking about. “Sir, let’s say that, uh, hypothetically Lieutenant McClearly, or any superior officer for that matter, gives me a direct order that probably violates some Starfleet protocol. Should I follow the protocol or, uh, obey orders?”

Jack turned his back to the prisoner and mouthed the word Protocol then opened his mouth “You follow orders without question, if he orders that we hang this tiny lobbed failure by the lobes till he squeals then thats his perogitive” he said with a small smirk sugesting he did not mean it. He had delt way more than he wanted to wit the Ferengi and they valued cunning, power and wealth. He had no intention of violating starfleet protocol but the occupent of the brig did not know that.
