Rado sat in the brig guard’s chair, watching the Ferengi, who was still crying. Prophets, Rado thought to himself, I was on Bajor under the Cardassians for 2 decades and I’ve cried less! After shoving aside the guilt from that thought, a thought entered his mind. If Lieutenant McCleary orders him to leave, should he do so? There was probably something in the rulebook about not letting an interregator alone with a suspect, but Rado knew that he shouldn’t upset the higher-ups further. He really pushed it with the question he asked Lieutenant Turner about how many people died because of him. In hindsight, that was a really dumb question. Jason steped into the brig having seen the check in, he stepped up to Ensign Rado. “What do we got Ensign, who’s our guest and why is he crying?” he said a little uncomfortable that a grown adult was acting in such away.
