Miz’uki had a long hard shift cleaning up after that whole mess she still did not fully understand what happened herself and she had a report to put in still about the repairs and what she was doing but even then as she walked into the Quarters she shared with her mate K’mora whom she saw on the couch reading a padd She said “Evening my love” and started moving to her desk “Miz’uki Dear…You need to read this!” Miz’uki sighed and walked over to her wife and took the padd her face fell as she read the words her mother who was the head of the clan was on her death bed Miz’uki knew what that meant…more than likely she would have to resign her commission after her mother passed and take up leadership of their clan she hated the idea but it was tradition at least for a year or two then she could find someone else to take over and abdicate but still it would mean once more her time out in the void would be cut short she still had a couple months though but it was a serious thing
