As the USS Memorial dropped out of warp, Aiden stood on the bridge, his anticipation palpable. His eyes were fixed on the viewscreen, awaiting the transition back into real space. With a nod, he commanded the helm, “Drop us out of warp.” Aiden’s hands rested lightly on the railing as he awaited the ship’s response. “Full tactical sensor scan,” he ordered, his tone conveying the importance of the task at hand. Then, turning to the tactical officer, he issued another directive, “Deploy the fighter wing. We need to be prepared for any eventuality.” Aiden’s focus remained unwavering as he awaited the results of the scan, ready to take action as necessary.Captain Aiden Voss

USS MemorialJohn remained seated at his console, gazing through the viewport as the streaks of starlight reverted to mere specks against the void of space. He inhaled deeply, anticipating the forthcoming commands.
Lt. John Tolly
Chief Operations OfficerAs the USS Memorial emerged from warp, Sifeda maintained her composed demeanor, her focus sharp and unwavering. Standing at her station, she kept her eyes fixed on the viewscreen as it transitioned back to real space. Her fingers moved with precision across the console, initiating the full tactical sensor scan as ordered by Captain Aiden Voss. Each blip and beep from the sensors was met with a calculated response as she reviewed the data streaming before her.
Sifeda’s gaze returned to Aiden as he turned to address him “Fighter wing deployed, Captain,” she announced.Commander Itri
(Executive Officer)“Very good, what are our scans telling us?” He asked.

USS MemorialScience/tactical - Scans would show a Ferengi Merchant vessel, D’Kora-class but older mode with signs of visible battle no signs of life
The Captain’s inquiry about the scans prompted Sifeda to review the data for information. “Scans indicate a Ferengi Merchant vessel, D’Kora-class, but older model,” she reported, her eyes moving back to the viewscreen to confirm the details. “Signs of visible battle, but no signs of life detected.” Despite the absence of life signs, she remained on guard, aware that the situation could shift at any moment.
Commander Itri
(Executive Officer)Tolly turned around in his chair
” Ferengi pirates have been known to use deception, they could be masking their life signs to try and lure a ship in”Lt. John Tolly
Chief Operations OfficerSifeda nodded, acknowledging Tolly’s concern. “Agreed, Lieutenant. We shouldn’t let our guard down. Keep scanning for any fluctuations or anomalies in the area. I don’t want us to fall into a trap.”She glanced at Captain Voss, silently conveying the need for caution in their next moves.
Commander Itri
(Executive Officer)Tolly gave a quick nod turning back to his console “I also suggest we do a tachyon sweep to search for any cloaked ships.” He said while preparing to do a scan
Lieutenant John Tolly
Chief Operations Officer“Good idea, flood the area with Tachyons, Commander ready an away team, let’s air in the side of caution and take a shuttle have the fighter squadron escort you and then remain patrolling the system.” He paused allowing his first two orders be acknowledge.
“Open hailing frequencies, let’s see if there’s anyone over there playing hide and seek.” Aiden stood cross armed in the center of the bridge waiting for his ordered to be carried out.

USS Memorialooc: would this be OPPS?
OOC: It can be, but I will take this to get things moving along.
OOC: I am happy for anyone to assume an NE if you’re unsure just do it :) - Jake
Seeing the communications console empty, Aza reached across her security console and input the commands to open the hailing frequencies. As she activated the comms, her voice was steady and clear. “Hailing frequencies open, Captain. Ready to transmit.” She glanced at Captain Voss, waiting for his signal to begin.
Ensign (Aza)
(Security officer)Aiden nodded in acknowledgment, his expression serious as he leaned forward. With a clear and steady voice, he spoke into the communicator: =^= “This is the USS Memorial. We offer our assistance. Please respond.” =^=
The silence that followed seemed to stretch on forever, heightening the tension on the bridge. Aiden repeated his message, hoping for any sign of life or communication from the vessel. But once again, there was no response.
He took a deep breath and turned to his first officer. “Commander, prepare an away team,” he ordered, his voice firm and resolute. “We need to find out what’s happening over there.”

Commanding Officer
USS MemorialSifeda stood at her post, she met Captain Voss’s gaze with a nod, acknowledging the order with a composed demeanor that masked her underlying concern.
“Understood, Captain,” she replied, her voice calm and steady. “I’ll assemble the team immediately.”
She turned to Ensign Aza, who was still manning the security console. “Ensign, you’re with me.”Commander Itri
(Executive Officer)Aza nodded and quickly, jumped from her seat and followed Sifeda to the turbolift. As the turbolift doors opened a Communications NE stepped out and went to the communications console to take over.
Ensign (Aza)
(Security officer)Lieutenant Tolly turned in his seat “Commander you may need some one over there who can get your sensors and other system working over there”
Lt. John Tolly Chief of Operations
Aiden overhead the Chief of Operations and silently agreed with him, looking to his second in command, “Take Lieutenant Tolly with you, his skills will likely be more useful there than monitoring you from here.” He recommended but would leave the decisions to his exec.

Aiden watched as their positions were taken over by their replacements, and the departing officers left the bridge. His focus returned to the ship adrift in space, displayed prominently on the viewscreen.
“Do we still have nothing on long-range scanners?” he asked, his tone a mix of concern and determination. “Any signs of weapons fire? Any trace of another ship?”
He leaned forward slightly, eyes fixed on the enigmatic vessel before them, waiting for his crew to uncover any clues that might explain its silent drift.
OOC: Chance for NEs
Captain Aiden Voss
Commanding Officer
USS MemorialAiden stood on the bridge, trying to mask his nervousness as he stared at the viewscreen. This was the first away team he had sent out as the commanding officer of the USS Memorial, and the weight of responsibility hung heavily on his shoulders. He couldn’t help but feel a knot of anxiety in his stomach as he thought about the dangers they might face.
His fingers drummed lightly against the armrest of his chair as he waited for the away team’s report. He took a deep breath, steadying himself before tapping his comm badge. =^= Commander, what are your initial findings? =^= he asked, striving to keep his tone authoritative yet casual, despite the tension he felt.
Captain Aiden Voss
Commanding Officer
USS Memorial=^=Captain, we’ve reached the storage door. The console is in Ferengi, so it’s taking time to decipher, however there’s no sign of life or struggle. Aza is working on accessing the door now. It’s possible the ship’s crew may have left in a hurry, but it’s too soon to determine why.=^=
Aiden nodded, which was rather silly when his XO wouldn’t be able to see him, =^= Very well XO, we’ll check in again in ten minutes, stay safe Memorial out=^=
“Tactical, inform the fighter squadron they can expand their flying pattern and begin to do-ordinate sensor sweeps with the Memorial. Maybe there will be some clues outside the ship aswell.
Captain Aiden Voss
Commanding Officer
USS Memorial“Aye Captain” he said starting his own set of sensor sweeps.
Jake opened comms he wished he was in the cockpit he was far more comfortable there, but his other officers could handle security on thier own.

Came the pilots voice, the ships tactical sensors would show the fighter wing expanding the gaps between them all and flying in a Wide arching motion around the two ships like a arm on an an old earth clock as they started sending data back to the ship.Lieutenant Junior Grade Marcus “Orion” Reynolds

USS Memorial‘Beep, beep, beep…” came an alter from the ship’s tactical console. The same beeps also reverberated in the fighters… ‘Beep, beep, beep.”
A subspace disturbance resulting from the compression of space associated with a ship’s warp drive was heading toward the Memorial. Three minutes, and it would be right on top of them.
GM Dipper
GamemasterMarcus glanced over his instruments, the data relayed to him by his wingman. =^= Memorial, I’m sending you data on a subspace disturbance caused by a ship’s warp drive. It’s on an intercept course with an estimated time to intercept of 3 minutes. What are your orders?=^=

USS MemorialJack saw it as well =/\=” Confirmed Unknown Vessel bearing 224 -034, ETA 3 Mike’s, tighten up defense around the away team” =/\= he called over coms and the bridge. Jack tried to adjust the sensors to see if he could get an ident on the incoming vessel “Sir recommend we go to Red alert until we know what’s going on”, he paused briefly “Launching the alert fighters is recommended as well.” he noted.
Lieutenant Jack ‘Blaze’ Turner
Chief of Security / Tactical OfficerApologies for the mistake. Here’s the revised version:
Aiden accepted the advice from his chief tactical and security officer, knowing he always prioritized the ship and its crew. However, being part of Starfleet also meant a responsibility to avoid unnecessary aggression. “Let’s not jump the gun,” he decided, “let’s stay at yellow alert with shields raised. Have the alert fighters on standby and ready to disembark, with the fighters already out taking a defensive posture in tight formation between us and the ferengi vessel. Inform the away team of the situation and open hailing frequencies Unknown Vessel this is Captain Voss of the Federation vessel Memorial, we are responding an emergency distress call please identify yourself, repeat that message and inform me if they respond, science do we have anything on scanners, when did we pick up the vessel?”
“Aye Captain, Yellow and Shields” he repeated the order back. Given the damage to the Ferengi vessel he did not want to get caught off guard. His hands danced across the console making sure the shields were in fact on. and that they were sounding yellow. “Be advised Captain current trajectory and rate of speed decay, she’s going to drop out of warp right on top of us.” he said keeping his eyes on the scanners hoping to identify the ship. He tightened up the scan as it closed range hoping to get better resolution on the craft.

Tapping his console he made sure the message was indeed repeating. “Aye Captain, signal is on cycle awaiting a response” He said. I don’t like this he thought too many things could go wrong. This was the job though so he kept his composure and maintained his attempted to identify this craft.
