Outside Jake had a stoic calm about him as he stepped off the transporter pad, inside however he was very excited to take on his new role on the Memorial. He smiled slightly his deep resonant voice slipped through the small smile. “Permission to come aboard!.” He asked the transport operator.

“Granted, welcome aboard Lieutenant.” She said with a small smile.

Moving in a long stride forward he looked one last time at the ne thanked her and moved past into the hall. He quickly made his way to the sickbay on deck seven. The doors sissped open as he approached the room and again behind him.

“Excuse me” he said to the closes person he could find. “Lieutenant Jake Turner, I’m her to get checked out.” He said, the timber in his voice made him sound like a early earth radio host.
