Hello everyone!

I’m super excited to be your tormentor Gamemaster for the upcoming sim. I thought I would provide a quick update on my GM’ing style, and how we are going to transition to the next sim (hopefully it will be relatively seamless).

So, a bit about my style…

1. My first priority is your enjoyment, and I’d rather be told if you’re not getting what you want from the sim. I tend to have a rough plot line, but often it’s in the interaction with the players (that’s you!) that I get my better ideas from.

2. I tend to, in rugby speak, play the advantage… that means that if we go off-piste, I tend to let play continue before bringing the RPing back onto the plot line once we’ve exhausted that rabbit hole.

3. Whilst I am focused on the main sim, I am more than happy to support any side-sims (and may throw in the odd inject to keep departments busy). Please just drop me a line, and I’ll see what I can do.

4. I occasionally like to use your characters to achieve certain outcomes in the sim, but that will always be through yourselves. If I would like your character to act in a certain way, I’ll drop you a line beforehand to discuss how that will work. I find it’s a good way to build up certain plot points without it being obvious because the GM has posted it.

In terms of moving us into the sim, please carry on the Away Team thread and head toward the precious cargo.
