Sifeda walked into the transporter room, her gaze sweeping over the familiar surroundings. The away team was already assembled, and now it was time for their first mission together, “Chief, we’re ready to beam down,” she announced, her voice steady and clear, masking any hint of the nervous energy she felt.
Sifeda glanced around at her team, a small but capable group. Each member carried a specific expertise essential for their task. “Remember our mission objectives. We stick together, follow protocols…okay?”
She stepped onto the transporter pad, aligning herself in the center. She took a deep breath, feeling the familiar tingle of anticipation that came with every transport. “Energize.”
A swirl of shimmering light enveloped her, and the transporter room faded from view. The sensation of dematerialization was one she had grown accustomed to over the years, but it always held an edge of the unknown

The away team materialized into a dimly lit room, their surroundings shrouded in shadows. The chief had hit the mark, placing them just outside engineering, following standard procedure for assessing the ship’s systems. As the energy beam faded, it cast a brief, eerie glow over the area before vanishing, leaving only the sinister red hue of the Ferengi’s version of red alert. The male computer voice echoed ominously through the silence, repeating its message with a Ferengi flair: “All hands, to the storage vaults! Protect the precious cargo! Profits must be secured!”

After they materialized, Aza pulled her phaser out and moved around the eerie dim red room making sure it was clear. She did a scan of the immediate area, looked at Sifeda and gave a nod. Indicating it was okay for now to move around the area.
