Rather than being escorted to his new quarters, he opted to make his way to the medical decks, with the primary objective of conducting his initial medical assessment with the chief medical officer. As a Counselor, Asher understood the significance of gaining insight into the physical and mental well-being of the ship’s crew, and the ship’s main physician often provided invaluable briefings in this regard.

Entering sickbay, Asher surveyed his surroundings. The layout was typical for a sickbay, albeit with its unique characteristics. “Excuse me,” he called out to a passing officer, seeking assistance.
