Today my wife gave a curveball. She’s decided that she now want to start a family. It’s not that I’m not excited about that. I am. I’m simply surprised. She was so against this and now wants a little one. This has brought all kinds of emotions to the surface. I’m excited, nervous, and a little afraid. I’m excited to see what we will bring into the world. I hope if it’s a girl she’s like her mother. I nervous about the world I’ll bring my child into. I’m afraid I won’t be good enough to be the dad this child deserves. I’m afraid I won’t be a good as my dad. He was always there; always behind me.
