Ciaran was finishing up the paperwork he needed in order to start doing yearly reviews with the crew. He wanted to start with the Chief Engineer Th’arhosren first. He hit his comm badge and said, “Command Donoghuei to Lt Th’arhosren. Please report to the ready room for your yearly review.” He knew none of the crew liked these because it was one of the bad times when Ciaran was a department head. Doing reviews was very nerve-racking. But he knew it needed to be done and not giving the department heads any lead time hopefully would help with dealing with the review so it was not over their head to think about. He waited for a response from the lieutenant.
