Ciaran headed from the bridge down to Transporter Room 1. He hit his comm badge and said =/\=This is Commander Donoghuei. We are ready for the away mission. Everyone assigned to the mission, please join me in Transporter Room 1 in the next 10 minutes. We will be beaming over to the other vessel. =/\= Ciaran walked off the turbolift and headed to Transporter Room 1. He was the first one there as expected. When he walked in the door, he nodded at the Chief and stood and waited for the rest of the away team to show up.

OOC: Sooo, I don’t know if I was chosen to be on the away team but if I wasn’t you can turn me away.

IC: Aza rushed to the transporter room, eager to begin her next mission. She greeted the XO with a nod and addressed him respectfully, using his official title, “Lieutenant Commander, Security is ready for the away mission.” She realized she didn’t know much about him, but she hoped that would change during their time together on this mission.

Kadence arrived a moment later. The small satchel over her shoulder held a small first aid kit, a PaDD to interface with in case they need more info once there, and a couple hypo sprays just in case someone went sideways. One never knew what to expect. Yes, it was a science facility. And yes, she figured nothing untowards was happening. But she also knew if there was something to hide, those hiding it would probably go to nearly any length to keep it secret.

“Sir,” she smiled and nodded to the XO and then to the others.

Ciaran noticed the security officer Aza walking in and said, “If you were assigned by your DH, you are fine to come. I expect to have one or two of the security officer on this away mission.” Ciaran was always happy to have security support, just hopefully to eliminate the possibility of something getting violent but if it did, they were best to have around. He also then saw the consuler walk in. Ciaran then said, “Welcome Kadence. Hope you are ready for this mission. I look forward to working with everyone on this away mission. I know its the first since I have come on the Memorial but not my first rodeo.” Ciaran was excited to show off his skills and being in charge and doing all the correct things. He had done this a few times as a DH but never as an executive officer. So this was new but not new. Just his title was slightly different. He was waiting on one or two more folks before heading over when commanded. He then tapped his comm bag and said =/\=Commander Donoghuei here. I am gathering the team in transporter room 1 and will be ready to beam over when needed. Donoghuei over.=/\=

Aza shrugged, checked for her phaser, then hopped up on the transporter pad as Commander Donoghuei gave confirmation that they were ready to beam over.

Aza, Security

NE McLaren and NE Watson walked in. “Sorry, just got the word from Commander Janzen.” They hopped on the pad and dropped their bags.

KT was the next to arrive, she had a medical case on her shoulder and her tri-corder on her belt. she looked t the assembled group and nodded ” Sorry I was delayed. I had to reset NE Rush’s arm. Hopefully his aim will improve so he can hit his punching bag and not the wall behind it” she said simply in her usual warm tone.

Commander Donoghuei looked over at the transporter chief and said, “We are ready to be transported over. You should have the coordinates.” After a few moments, they arrived at the station. Ciaran looked around to verify everyone was there with him and then took a look around to see what and who he saw. He was hoping it was in decent shape and not where he needed to take major action to start off. He was also glad there was no issues with the transporter. He always worried abut something happening to someone during transporter. He had been on a number of away teams but it always made him nervous since he knew all the details of hows transporter worked and all the things which could go wrong.
