It had taken a few hours, but all the new equipment, supplies, and support craft were onboard the Memorial. Crew settled into their stations and awaited their new orders. The bridge seemed fairly calm, especially given the limited warning to recall the crew to the ship.

Lieutenant Becket stood at the tactical/security console. She’d overseen the onboarding of supplies, personnel, and equipment for her section, and much of it handled from the main security office. But now on the bridge she worked through final integration of the new fighters and other equipment. As well as running some quick calibration simulations. Basic stuff. At the same time she kept an eye on the internal systems and the external scanners. While on-station at Stabase 243, they were still responsible for securing the area.

The Turbolift opened and the Captain walked in sitting down in the captain’s chair “are we ready to get underway?” she asked her bridge crew being an engineer she was more intune with the ship and while maybe it was her projecting but she could feel the Memorial was eager to undock and stretch her legs Eager to go more than a few lightyears away from the station and for Tralla she could not agree more with her starship the last month had been quite boring
