After JT had come back aboard and had a moment to shower change and grab a quick bite to eat. He made a few notes to remind the engineering staff to take a look at the replicator and environmental controls on the runabout he had brought back. Issues with both systems had led to a very sweaty and hungry trip.

Once that was done he exited his cabin and made his way to the COs ready room for his official check in. Hitting the buzzer, he awaited the response from the CO

=^=”Come”=^= came the response inside the Andorian captain was reading a Padd at her desk she seemed more tired and warn down from the last time he had seen her she looked up “Ahhh Mr. Robinson welcome back!” she said “Care to explain why awhile back I was woken up in the middle of the night told that my Helm Officer was being reassigned suddenly and taking one of the Memorials shuttles to a different assignment without my input in the matter?” she asked it was clear that she had been waiting for his return so she could grill him like a fish for what had happened

JT entered and smiled at the warmest welcome the Andorian was likely capable of providing. “As I am sure you have guessed, I cant. Classified orders and such. But at least I managed a promotion out of it. ” JT then smiled and chuckled to himself and handed over the PADD in his hand containing his new, very much not classified orders. “Speaking of orders…” he started before shifting his composure and coming to full attention

“LTCMD. Robinson reporting for duty as Executive Officer Captain” he finished trying conceal what could best be called a s**t-eating grin

she was about to shake her head taking the padd from him she looked it over “Vid Hamri Pors!…” she growled cursing in her native tongue as she read the padd “First that son of a Frostgirt takes my helmsman off on some classified mission and now sends him back assigned as the first officer without consulting what I wanted!” she said clearly a little irritated that she had not been consulted or brought in on any of it “Mind JT I am not blaming you for this I think some congratulations are in order however there is a certain Admiral who we are both acquainted with who is going to get a serious tongue lashing from me!” she said

“for now get yourself settled and we will discuss getting schedules drawn up and the like later I have to Sharpen my Usshan Tor!” she said

“I was as surprised as you Cap’n” JT said chuckling “The irony of it all is that after my demotion I was convinced the admiral had no sense of humor. Only to find out that its just twisted and Perverse. Kidding aside. He did seem genuinely convinced this position was right for me and that this was the right decision. A lot happened on my.. trip. Ill be able to share some non detailed details and stories when time allows. Just know that I intend to serve you and your ship with the utmost respect and care that I am capable.”

Deciding it ba good idea to get up to speed JT asked “What is current status and ships mission. Admiral didn’t give me much to go on, just that your newest XO was gone.”
