The runabout that JT had brought back to the ship from his extended away mission sat off to the side of the main shuttle bay doing nothing more than taking up space. Based on the scorch marks and hull damage it had seen some stuff. According tho the XO’s report there was more broken on it than there was working. The XO’s flight home had been a vomit inducing flight of 0G due to the loss of gravity systems, near asphyxiation due to life support sticking at about 2%. not to mention replicators were toast (and not the good buttery kind). The comm’s system was shot and he had actually been lucky to get a message out to the Memorial as he approached just barley avoiding getting blasted out of the sky by his own ship.

The list of issues continued and the engineering staff was alerted to the fact that work needed to be done. JT would swear in his report that the only thing holding it together was prayer and bubble gum.
